The Ray Floor Lamp was created by the PEDERJESSEN design studio for the manufacturer Mater.

Mater produces high-end, meticulously crafted homewares and furniture, made with sustainable materials and a commitment to ethical processes. All items from this brand are built to last, with timeless Nordic-inspired minimalist design aesthetics, such as the Ray Floor Lamp from Danish industrial design studio, PEDERJESSEN.

The Ray Floor Lamp features a circular steel base, steel stand and steel casing to the rear of the bulb. Inside this casing is contrasting oak bulb housing, which can be positioned to adjust the direction of the light as needed. The oak used in this lamp is FSC® certified and adds a touch of warmth and nature to the lamp's otherwise industrial design. Measuring 127cm in height and 35cm in depth, the light comes with an LED bulb and a textile cord measuring 200cm. Suitable for reading or task work, this floor lamp is also ideal as ambient room lighting for use anywhere in the home. Also available in the collection is the Ray Table Lamp and Ray Wall Lamp.
