Made of lightweight and durable extruded aluminum that is finished with lacquer, the bookends serve the function of holding up books on a shelf while remaining almost invisible because of their minimalist design. They can be used to keep books organised by holding them together when they have been arranged according to the subject, author, year of publication or any other way you might wish to organise your library. It is fast and easy to mount the bookend by simply tilting it down between two metallic tubes. The bookend is held in place with plastic ends.
