Eden Queen Carpet Square

The Eden Queen Carpet Square has been created by Marcel Wanders for the brand Moooi Carpets. The carpet portrays a large range of colours that are represented in vivid detail. The image is presented on the textile using digital algorithmic printing that achieves infinite visualisation in 3D. This form of chromo-jet printing also gives the carpet an illusion of depth and texture.

The Eden Queen Carpet Square is printed on a synthetic textile known as polyamide. It has a primary backing of woven PP and a secondary backing of felt. When used for carpets, polyamide offers the advantage of imitating the deluxe look of those that are made of natural materials like wool. It is also hardwearing and easy to maintain. Additionally, it does not flatten when pressure is applied to it. The fibres spring up quickly.

The Eden Queen Carpet Square is available in two sizes. The smaller one has a length and width of 250cm while the larger one has a length and width of 350cm. It is available in multi-colour and black. Its durability makes it ideal for use in high-traffic areas which it will also imbue with a look of luxury. It works just as well in homes as it does in commercial spaces.
