Obsession Carpet 200x300cm

The Obsession Carpet 200x300cm has been created by Marian Bantjes for the brand Moooi Carpets. The design for this bright and colourful carpet was inspired by a visit to a Japanese dollar store to purchase stickers. Looking at the assortment, the idea came to Marian to design a carpet in their honour. Put together, they form a unique and unexpected collage that makes for a fun, playful carpet.

The different motifs on the Obsession Carpet 200x300cm come alive and look so lifelike because of the polyamide fabric it is printed on. It is artificial and is the strongest type of nylon which makes the carpet very hardwearing. Another benefit of using polyamide for carpets is how well it takes ink. Printing is done digitally with a printer that imparts the ink into the fabric with high accuracy. The high-resolution printer injects colours and their shades with high contrast and rich tones. This is how printed polyamide carpets have images that look so brilliant.

The black Obsession Carpet 200x300cm has a length of 300cm and a width of 200cm, The blue and yellow ones have a length of 400cm and a width of 300cm while the red one has a length of 300cm and a width of 200cm.
