The Plane Single Bed 90x200cm has been created by Felix Stark for the brand Müller Small Living. German industrial designer Stark aims to design pieces that are progressive in terms of being more functional, sustainable and practical. Although they can be used anywhere, his designs cater to urban dwellers who often have to make compact living spaces work. The Plane Single Bed 90x200cm exemplifies his approach and his abilities. The bed is named after its form, which resembles a plane. One side of it has an in-built shelf that functions as a bedside table and represents a wing. An optional box for the foot of the bed can be purchased separately. It can be used as a seat and opened to store items like bed linen. The bed is made of Finnish birch plywood with a thickness of 1.8cm thick that is finished with protective oiling. The wood is protected with a durable melamine coating. It comes in white or grey with wooden edges all around.
The Plane Single Bed 90x200cm has a length of 211.8cm, a width of 122.3cm and a height of 74cm. The height of the bed edge is 35cm. This bed is comfortable, compact, durable and fun with its plane-like shape.
