Avail Wall Wardrobe

The Avail Wall Wardrobe has been created by Kim Colin and Sam Hecht for the brand Muuto. Added to Muuto 's collection in 2021, Avail represents an adaptable storage option for all kinds of apparel and accessories. Possessing a timeless aesthetic which uses wood in imaginative ways, it will be a handy add-on for bedrooms and hallways alike.

The Avail Wall Wardrobe features five round studs which are attached to a 87.5cm long rectangular base which also measures 7cm tall and 3.8cm wide. The studs and base are made from FSC®-certified oak wood, ensuring that the wall wardrobe has a low environmental impact, while oiled and lacquered versions are both available. Overall, the design allows the grain of the wood to stand out, giving the rack an organic feel and an appealing aesthetic.

But the base and studs aren't the only appealing feature of the Avail Wall Wardrobe. Colin and Hecht have added a couple of steel hooks which can be placed onto the wooden elements. Owners can position the hooks to add extra garments if needed, and even add more hooks to their collection as their clothing needs expand. It all comes together in a product which evolves with individual needs, while never losing its visual appeal.
