Product description

The stylish Restore Round Basket was designed by Mika Tolvanen for the Danish design label Muuto.

Muuto is a manufacturing company that collaborates with contemporary designers to create modern and innovative designs and concepts. Mika Tolvanen is part of the Finnish Rehti Design group, he has his own design office in Helsinki, and has worked with some of the worlds top manufacturers and designers. His designs are Nordic inspired, whilst demonstrating his passion for making new designs that are exciting and functional.

The Restore Round Basket is constructed using polymer felt that is rounded to create an entire circle, with decorative detailing at the top giving it a heart shaped appearance. This makes the basket aesthetically pleasing with no visible seams. The basket is eco-friendly, with the polymer felt being made from recycled PET bottles.

It has two handles for convenient transportation, and is designed to be inconspicuous in its environment, harmoniously adapting to the rest of the furnishings in the room. It is ideal for storing everything from chopped firewood, to toys or magazines, blankets or laundry. Empty storage baskets can be conveniently stacked to save space.
