Shade Palette 3 Outdoor Rug

The Shade Palette 3 Outdoor Rug was designed by Begüm Cana Özgür for the Nanimarquina label.

Özgür studied design and architecture in her native Turkey and abroad. Today, her studio is based in Istanbul. Her architectural training is evident in the soft furnishing designs, which connect with the Turkish tradition of geometry and colour harmony. These qualities make Özgür's designs a superb match for the Nanimarquina label. Founded in 1987, the brand's ethos involves matching fine craftsmanship with quality materials and contemporary design, while upholding cultural design influences.

Made of 100% polyethylene terephthalate, the Shade Palette 3 Outdoor Rug is available in three sizes, 170 x 42 cm, 200 x 300 cm, and 300 x 400 cm. All are 0.7cm in depth. All rugs are hand loomed and have a knot density of 39600 and a weight of 2.2kg per square metre. This fine weave is evident in the criss-crossing threads, and the tassel finish of the shorter ends of each rug. The visible weave and delicate colour palette give each rug an ephemeral, gossamer-like appearance, while the hard-wearing material render each one durable enough for outdoor use.
