Mass Wide Coffee Table

The Mass Wide Coffee Table has been created by Lim + Lu for the brand New Works. With Mass, the Hong Kong-based duo Lim + Lu sought to combine classic Scandinavian wood-based aesthetics with the spirit of togetherness. Designed to bring people together, Mass appeals with its simplicity and finely shaped form - providing the perfect accompaniment to sofas and armchairs.

The basic form of the Mass Wide Coffee Table has been rigorously simplified to its bare essentials. The table has a cubic shape and has been made from boards of walnut veneer. The natural texture of the walnut is allowed to come through, creating a stunning visual effect, while a dark lacquer has also been applied to make the table appear even more seductive. A discreet base completes the design and can hardly be seen beneath the main cubic mass of the table.

The Mass Wide Coffee Table measures 103cm long and 69cm wide, with a height of just 21cm.Those dimensions should enable it to combine effectively with most sofas, providing a spacious setting for meals and coffees, as well as room for documents and living room accessories. The table weighs 85kg and will be a solid, impressive addition to lounges, waiting rooms, and living spaces alike.
