Product description

The Bit Stool has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. Danish industrial designer Legald is known to experiment with new materials and methods, thereby creating unexampled designs with outstanding aesthetics. A good illustration of this is the Bit Stool. The utilitarian look of this stool contrasts with its pixelated surface that is made of bits of low-density polyethylene LDPE. This is recycled industrial and household waste. The sturdy stool has a thick top and base. A column-shaped support that holds the top and the base adds strength, durability and stability. The design of the stool was, in fact, inspired by clean, uncluttered architectural shapes such as monoliths and columns.

The Bit Stool has a height of 42cm and a diameter of 36cm. This visually striking, versatile piece can be used as a side table that holds a lamp or floral arrangement. Even without anything placed on it, the Bit Stool is a beautiful piece to put on display in a living room or hallway. A cluster of them in the same or different colours will look stunning. It is available in black, white and black or white multi with different colours of speckles.
