The Scala Dining Table Ø 130cm has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. Danish industrial designer Legald strives to stay true to his roots by designing pieces that are honest and have Nordic simplicity. It is also his aspiration to honour Scandinavian design tradition and embrace modernity that inclines him to create products embodying both craftsmanship and modern, experimental production methods and materials. The Scala Dining Table Ø 130cm is one of his popular creations. Its beauty is in its simplicity and the juxtaposing of different shapes against each other. Two of them are thick and the one in the middle is slender, which is another play on shapes. It has a round tabletop made of marble, stainless steel or oak veneer. The top sits on a trio of column-shaped stems fashioned from powder-coated stainless steel. The stem is anchored by a disc-shaped base. As well as supplying unique aesthetics, the pillar-shaped stem enhances the table's stability and durability.

The Scala Dining Table Ø 130cm has a height of 75cm and a diameter of 130cm. Its all-inclusive round shape is ideal for laid-back, relaxed family dinners in the kitchen. This table can also be used in commercial spaces like restaurants, cafeterias and office meetings rooms.
