Hailing from the Swedish city of Falun, Rickardsson has one foot in the mainstream of the country's craft traditions and another in the waters of modern industry. Her textiles seek to use old-school craft techniques and the expertise behind them, using new materials to add extra properties like waterproofing and tensile strength.
