Marre Carpet Runner 70x375cm

The Marre Plastic Rug 70x375cm was designed by Scandinavian textile artist Lina Rickardsson for the manufacturer pappelina.

Rickardsson's eye for colour and pattern has served her well since her days as a student painter and textilist in Gothenburg. Today, having balanced a design career with family life, it's no wonder that she loves creating stylish and practical textiles that work well in the modern home. Her choices are also influenced by the craft traditions of her home country. pappelina still manufactures in the original weaving mill in the central Swedish region of Darlana using Jacquard-style looms dating back to the 1950s and 60s.
