Tulipa S3 Suspension Lamp

The Tulipa S3 Suspension Lamp has been created by Studio Khamai for the brand Prandina. With this delicate pendant lamp, Studio Khamai have transformed the tulip flower into an elegant household light. The result is a lamp which fuses natural beauty and practical illumination, and one which is sure to enhance any rooms of the home.

The outstanding feature of the Tulipa S3 Suspension Lamp is the diffuser. The lamp has an exterior shade with a notch cut into its side, creating a tulip flower shape. This shade is made from matt finished or galvanised metal and conceals a cylindrical core which holds the luminaire. Light is cast downwards from inside the central cylinder, providing an effective source of brightness for dining tables or desks. Owners can also deploy a series of Tulipa lamps to light larger spaces.

The main unit of the Tulipa S3 Suspension Lamp measures 29cm tall and the maximum diameter is 15cm. It hangs from a height-adjustable 300cm long fabric covered cable and connects to a 12cm diameter canopy. Finally, inside the central diffuser, the lamp accommodates a single LED bulb. This is not supplied with the lamp, but the appropriate bulb with the E27 socket can be ordered separately.
