The Wall Cabinet with Shelf 240x75x30cm was designed by Nisse Strinning for the brand String. Born in 1917, Strinning trained as an architect and designer before winning an award in 1949 for a bookshelf created for a publishing firm. This award was the origin of his String company, which has continued to manufacture fine modular furniture ever since. Customers identify the company by the pure geometry of its products, shapes that harmonise with each other and are made from quality materials.

Made from lacquered MDF, the Wall Cabinet with Shelf 240x75x30cm consists of three cupboards, each fitted with a pair of sliding doors. Each door is accented by a practical finger groove for opening and closing. The cupboard unit rests upon a steel frame with laddered sides that attaches to the wall. The bracket underneath the cupboard unit contains a separate shelf, removable and height adjustable, which runs the length of the unit.
