B 20/1 Coffe Table Ash

The B 20/1 Coffe Table Ash was designed in-house for the brand Thonet.

In the early part of the twentieth century, Thonet moved away from its innovative and much copied bentwood furniture to become the foremost exponents of curved tubular steel design. With a roster of stellar designers including Otto Wagner and Marcel Breuer, the label quickly became a byword for excellent craftsmanship. Their influential and classic designs are still in production today, marrying style and usability.

This legacy can clearly be seen in the exquisite B 20/1 Coffe Table Ash. With its clean and spare silhouette this table would grace any contemporary design scheme, it's flowing sinuous frame a counterpoint to the starkness of its materials. Strikingly sculptural in its minimalism, this rectangular table is also highly practical. Two layers of lacquered ash MDF sit in a brushed steel frame, offering a useful storage solution as well as a durable piece of classic design. The B 20/1 Coffe Table Ash is available in two sizes: the larger is 120 x 36 x 80 cm and the smaller 80 x 36 x 80 cm, so whatever the size of space, there's a table to suit it. Ideal for a modernist living room, it would also suit a conservatory.
