The S 220 F Armchair has been created by Sam Hecht & Kim Colin for the brand Thonet. This beautiful chair is a concept piece that contrasts a beautifully moulded plywood chair with a light steel frame and an ergonomic seat. With optional armrests, it is ideal for private homes and the commercial sector alike.

By using moulded plywood, one of Thonet's primary innovations, the S 220 F Armchair pushes the boundaries of possibility, with its juxtaposition of precise lines and organic curves. The moulded shell is at once supportive and comfortable and the hourglass seat provides the ideal amount of give. The waterfall edge, or rounded front edge, exists to boost comfort and avoid pressure points, making this a highly durable, stackable piece. The S 220 F Armchair has a height of 81cm, a width of 57cm and a depth of 54cm.

The seat height is 46cm and the armrest height is 70cm. Made with wood from FSC®-certified forestry production, this piece is also a sustainable choice. It weighs 5kg and is available in oak or walnut with a clear lacquer for a beautiful finish and to maximise the durability of this eye-catching article.
