Product description

The S 43 K Cantilever Children's Chair has been created by Mart Stam for the brand Thonet. The late Dutch architect and industrial designer Stam played a pivotal role in the development of modern mid-20th century design. He is particularly well known for the Cantilever series of chairs. The S 43 K Cantilever Children's Chair was a big hit and it continues to be sought after today. This children's chair has retained the basics of the Cantilever chairs. It has a similar tubular steel frame with legs formed in a sleigh style rather than the traditional four legs. The idea was to retain the same minimalist shape and timeless design. The seat and backrest are made of moulded plywood and beech. For children, it has been finished in bright colours inspired by gemstones and minerals. It has also been kept safe by the use of eco-friendly paint that is not harmful to children.

The S 43 K Cantilever Children's Chair has a width of 31cm, a height of 61cm and a depth of 41cm. It has a seat height of 34cm. It is available in a selection of colours that children are sure to find fun and attractive.
