Pavilion AV16 Desk Frame Chrome

The Pavilion AV16 Desk Frame Chrome has been created by Anderssen & Voll for the brand &Tradition. The Pavilion series of furnishings was inspired by the form of Copenhagen's famous Langelinie Pavilion. This entry in the minimalist series is a simple but beautiful desk which combines sculpted legs and a pure linoleum tabletop. It will work well in homes and workplaces alike.

The Pavilion AV16 Desk Frame Chrome has a rectangular upper surface which has been made from lacquered oak or walnut veneer. This veneer surface has been finished with Forbo linoleum and coloured either grey or white, while the edges of the tabletop have been left exposed, showing off the colour and texture of the wood veneer. The tabletop is spacious, measuring 130cm wide and 65cm deep - enough room for computer work, drafting documents or one-to-one meetings.

In a neat design touch, the Pavilion AV16 Desk Frame Chrome couples a functional surface with a gorgeous base. This base is made from chrome steel and has been sculpted to resemble the form of windswept trees. It stabilises the desktop and raises the desk height to 74cm. There is also a horizontal wood veneer support underneath the desk's surface, and the total design weighs 23.3kg.
