The iconic Akari 1N Table Lamp was designed by the innovative designer Isamu Noguchi for the popular Swiss-based furniture label Vitra.

Japanese American designer Isamu Noguchi was a top-tier designer, artist, and landscape architect who worked out of his New York studio. Before his death, Noguchi was famous for his contemporary and ingenious masterpieces, some of which are on display at the Noguchi Museum in New York City. This lamp is an example of the designer's superior talent and extraordinary imaginative abilities.
