The EA 219 Soft Pad Eames Alu Chair Office Chair has been created by Ray & Charles Eames for the brand Vitra.This 1969 chair continues to hold its own in terms of function and style. It provides supreme comfort and support behind a work desk.

The EA 219 Soft Pad Eames Alu Chair Office Chair has a high, wide backrest with vertical sewn-on cushions. They have a filling of polyurethane foam upholstered in premium quality leather. The seat is just as wide and is slightly upturned to provide optimal comfort. It can be adjusted by tilting it backwards or locking it in a forward position. A gas spring enables continuous seat height adjustment. The armrests on the sides are made of die-cast aluminium finished with polishing. The shell is supported by a five-star base. It is also made of die-cast aluminium finished the same way. The five prong-style legs have soft castors with covers that make it easy to navigate around the desk.
