The EA 223 Soft Pad Aluminium Chair Ottoman has been created by Ray & Charles Eames for the brand Vitra.Designed in 1969, it is just as popular today as it was then. This is thanks to its clean lines and the timeless materials that have been used during production.

The EA 223 Soft Pad Aluminium Chair Ottoman Seat has a rectangular seat supported by a frame made of aluminium. The seat is padded with polyurethane foam and upholstered with premium quality leather. The tanning process is done following an ecological method that minimises environmental pollution which qualifies it for listing as a Sustainable Choice product. The upholstery is reinforced with binding along the edges. The seat rests on a frame made of aluminium finished with powder coating. It has a curved bar underneath the seat with a thick stem in the middle. The stem extends down and branches out into four legs with gliders that form a star shape.

The EA 223 Soft Pad Aluminium Chair Ottoman has a width of 56cm, a height of 42.5cm and a depth of 58cm. Its seat height is 42.5cm. Available in neutral and earthy colours, it can be used on its own or with matching lounge chair from the same collection.
