The striking Eames Plastic Armchair DAW Ash Base was designed by the American couple Ray and Charles Eames for the label Vitra.

Vitra is a Swiss business that is, to this day, proud to be family run. Much more than your average furniture manufacturer, the label has its own museum campus in Germany, with its own original buildings designed by renowned architects. Having devised many of their own manufacturing techniques, Ray and Charles Eames are arguably the most influential designers of the 20th century. Their classic, highly popular and today iconic designs are still produced by Vitra.

The Eames Plastic Armchair DAW Ash Base combines comfort, style and class in one minimalist design. It features the iconic Eiffel Tower base and a curved seat shell made of polypropylene. Measuring 62.5cm wide, 83cm high and 60cm deep, the seat is suitable for any professional setting including the workplace and home office. For added practicality, the Eames Plastic Armchair DAW Ash Base comes with felt gliders to protect hard floors, making even easier to match with existing interior decor.
