The classic Eames Plastic Chair DSR Black Frame H43cm was designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Vitra.

Charles and Ray Eames were an American couple who designed some of the most iconic furniture of the 20th century. In the 1950s, this husband-and-wife team began collaborating with Vitra, a company based in Switzerland who produce innovative furniture for the home and office. Vitra are well known for working with exciting and ground-breaking designers to produce beautiful pieces of furniture which stand the test of time. The highly practical and easily recognisable Eames Plastic Chair DSR Black Frame H43cm has a moulded plastic seat produced from high-quality polypropylene. The signature Eiffel Tower base is a combination of elegance and strength made from black steel. This stylish chair is wipeable and can be used with a dining table as a side chair and as outdoor seating for use in the home or the workplace. The seat is 43cm high and 46.5cm deep, and the overall height is 83cm. The chair is a beautiful piece of mid-century design that would enhance most interiors of today.
