The Eames Plastic Side Chair DSR Upholsterd Chromed Base has been created by Charles and Ray Eames for the brand Vitra. The American industrial couple left behind a rich legacy of modern furniture and interiors that they pioneered. One such contribution is the Eames Plastic Side Chair DSR Upholsterd Chromed Base. This dining height chair has a shell made of dyed-through polypropylene. It has a clean, uncluttered profile thanks to a backrest and seat that are one piece. Over the shell is moulded polyurethane foam padding that is covered with upholstery made of premium quality, durable Hopsak fabric. The chair comes with an upholstered seat cushion which also makes for a more attractive and comfortable chair. The shell sits on a base made of steel rods that are finished with chrome plating. The legs are angled outwards, thereby enhancing stability. They are fitted with gliders for hard floors. The rods are arranged in an intriguing crisscross pattern.

The Eames Plastic Side Chair DSR Upholsterd Chromed Base has a width of 62.5cm to 66cm, depending on the upholstery, a height of 83cm and a depth of 59cm to 66cm. Its seat height is 43cm. It is available in a choice of different colours.
