Product description

The Eames Plastic Side Chair DSX RE Black Base has been designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the brand Vitra. This instantly recognisable chair sits within the iconic collection of Vitra Eames plastic chairs, which are all based on the original 70-year-old design. Today, the original collection has been relaunched with fresh new colour options, different metal design finishes and the use of recycled post-consumer waste for a more sustainable choice.

The Eames Plastic Side Chair DSX RE Black Base has a width of 46.5cm, a new height of 83cm and a depth of 55cm. The seat height is 43cm and the chair weighs 4.6kg. The chair features the classic single-sheet plastic moulded seat which is designed to meet the contours of the sitter, and which offers exceptional comfort. The seat is fixed to a black tubular steel frame with black plastic feet and felt gliders to protect hard floors.

The Eames Plastic Side Chair DSX RE Black Base is also designed for outdoor use. It can be accessorised with a range of specially shaped cushions from Vitra. Use this classic investment piece for any home or work location, and enjoy instant contemporary style and comfort.
