The beautiful Wire Chair DKX-2 was designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the design label Vitra.
After Vitra was launched in the 1950s, the company quickly gained a name as a manufacturer of striking furniture and accessories for homes and offices. The Eames couple comprises, arguably, the two most influential designers of the 20th century.
The eye-catching Wire Chair DKX-2 is a variant of the Wire Chair DKX. It is available with or without a seat cushion and a two-piece seat and back cushion, also known as the "bikini pad"; these cushions come in leather or fabric. The comfortable, now iconic Wire Chair DKX-2 will add a striking accent to living spaces and can be used in combination with other wire chairs in the range for a varied yet unified seating arrangement. The seat measures 49 x 85 x 51 cm.
