The Sarria Round Bowl Ø27,5cm was designed by Lluis CLotet for Italian furniture label Alessi.
Clotet was born in Barcelona in 1941 and graduated from the Barcelona School of Architecture in 1965. He is a founding partner of Bd Barcelona Design, which specialises in furniture and everyday objects. Some of his most renowned works include the Sonor commercial establishment and Restaurant Raft in Barcelona, Casa Vittoria on the island of Pantelleria and houses in the Olympic Village in Barcelona. He has won numerous design awards, including the National Architecture Award in 2010.
The Sarria Round Bowl Ø27,5cm has an elegant contemporary design that evokes a shell or piece of rock, with a beautiful polished stainless steel construction and epoxy resin varnish providing high sheen for luminescent reflections.
