The Tray Side Tablewas designed by byKATO for the brand Andersen Furniture.

byKATO is an innovative Danish studio which seeks to extend that country's proud design traditions while adding unique touches that are all its own. The studio has worked on sofas, outdoor tables, and much else besides, but few of its creations match the Tray Side Table. Produced for Danish label Andersen Furniture, this furniture item is refined and restrained, meticulously composed, and impressive in every respect.

Beautiful and highly practical, the Tray Side Table makes fine use of natural ash, while fitting seamlessly into all kinds of home interiors. It has two circular platforms, both made from solid ash wood, measuring 46cm across, while the side table as a whole rises to a height of 68cm. byKATO has added a square handle for easy placement and the designers have used slender metal tubing for the frame, thereby ensuring optimal strength. Resting on four slimline legs, the Tray Side Table can retreat into the background, offering a stylish setting for flowers or framed photos, but will also enhance the look of interior rooms with its minimalist lines. Either way, it is a wholly convincing byKATO creation.
