The Type 75 Mini Wall Light was designed by Kenneth Grange for Anglepoise.
Respected British industrial designer Grange started work as a drafting assistant for architect Jack Howe in the 1950s. His career has spanned more than 50 years, during which he designed some of the most recognisable items of the last century, including razors for Wilkinson Sword and cameras for Kodak. The outstanding feature of his designs is a fundamental rethink of the item's purpose and functionality.
The Type 75 Mini LED Wall Light is a simple, pared-down wall light that provides both ambient and more targeted light. The light is ideal for use above desks and tables, illuminating the area as you eat, work or socialise. Thanks to its unobtrusive design, the light suits smaller areas well. It can also be used either side of a door or alcove to illuminate and visually enlarge the area, eliminating unsightly shadowed areas. The head of the lamp swivels, allowing more targeted light for detailed work like typing. The lamp is made of robust aluminium and measures 28cm long and 15cm high, with a canopy diameter of 8cm and a shade diameter of 13cm.
