Type 75 Wall Light

The stylish Type 75 Wall Light was designed by Sir Kenneth Grange for design company Anglepoise.

Anglepoise is a family-owned, quintessentially British brand that creates beautiful, elegant lighting products that are both useful and style-aware. The company gained attention for its spring balance mechanism in the early 1930s. This mechanism is still in use today in many of its designs. Sir Kenneth Grange is a British industrial designer who designs modern, innovative pieces from his London studio. His designs include the famous Kenwood Mixer and Kodak Instamatic camera.

The Type 75 LED Wall Light was based on the now vintage "lamp 1227" which made the company famous. The lamp has been transformed into a stylish wall lamp. Due to the lamp's balanced proportions and compact size it can be used in any setting or room. It makes use of mirrors attached in pairs to create soft, indirect but adequate illumination. It is particularly impressive when several models of the Type 75 LED wall light are mounted next to each other. In this way soft light is created and the lamps also act as spotlights for exhibits on sideboards or shelves.
