Innovative and modern lighting design - this is what the Spanish manufacturer Vibia stands for. The company was founded in 1987 in Barcelona and gained international success within a few years. Today multiple product teams consisting of product designers and interior designers consolidate the Vibia brand identity and constantly create new lamp designs.

These teams include renowned designers such as Ramón Benedito, who contributed to the drafts of the Vibia Funnel Wall/Floor Lamp, Vibia Funnel Wall/Ceiling light and Vibia Funnel mini wall/ceiling light. Its fluid, slim line is a good example of how lighting design can be harmoniously matched to the room atmosphere. Diego Fortunato created the hit series Vibia Jazz ( Jazz 1330 floor lamp, Jazz A58-10 wall light ), Vibia Nature and Vibia code. And the Puck, Slim and Balance collections are attributable to Jordi Vilardell.

Vibia went an entirely new way with the Ameba Single Pendant Lamp, which was awarded the 2009 "Best of the Year" award: This lamp consists of individual elements in five different forms, which can be combined at will. In this way, the pendant light with a length of 67cm and a width of 45cm, can be increased to an area of several square meters.

As you can see: Vibia puts innovation in the blood. The Catalans demand the highest quality of the materials used, as well as the resulting products and always develop solutions that are tailored to the needs of their customers. With the use of new light sources such as LED and OLED, in the future light designs will arise, which are leaders in the market and offer inspiring lighting solutions for all types of decor.

For the innovative lighting design, Vibia uses mainly glass, acrylic, polyester and other high-tech materials. The clear, often effectively purist shape is further emphasized by the colours, with black and white often used. Before a design goes into production, it goes through numerous experiments on glare and brightness distribution. For only the proper distribution of light and shadow make lamp designs successful.
