The Maralunga 40 2-Seater Sofa 166x95cm has been created by Vico Magistretti for the brand Cassina. First introduced in 1974, Maralunga is a modern Italian classic which won a Compasso d'Oro Award in 1979. Characterised by refined forms, absolute comfort, and a commitment to craftmanship, this two-seater sofa will be an eye-catching add-on for living rooms and lounge spaces.
The Maralunga 40 2-Seater Sofa 166x95cm blends classic forms and innovative ideas. The basic seat cushions are familiar, providing ample softness and plenty of space. But the right angled armrest and the inclined back cushions which appear to float above the seat are unusual additions that make the Maralunga design stand out. The surfaces of the sofa also impress thanks to their beige Savana upholstery, while a steel frame is concealed discreetly underneath the fabric covering, making the design extremely stable.
