The Pailla Wall Lamp/Ceiling Lamp has been created by Eileen Grey for the brand ClassiCon. The designer initially created it for her own home. The dedication is clear to see in the attention to detail. When it was debuted to the public, it was received with a lot of interest and attention.
The Pailla Wall Lamp/Ceiling Lamp is pared down to basics which gives it a refined, minimalist aesthetic. It is essentially a socket and bulb that are mounted on a wall or ceiling. The lamp has a cylinder-shaped body made of steel that is finished with chrome plating that gives it an elegant, polished finish. It is in two parts which are divided giving a look that replicates a telescope. The body is screwed onto a wall and a bulb is inserted at the end.
The Pailla Wall Lamp/Ceiling Lamp has a height of 16cm and a diameter of 8.4cm. It works with an E27 socket and the bulb has to be purchased separately. An LED bulb will make the lamp dimmable. Its design works with a contemporary or industrial design scheme. A pair of them in a row or on opposite walls will impart a look and feel of simple elegance to a space.
