The Pip-e Green Garden Armchair has been created by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet for the brand Driade. Named after a shortened version of its creator's names, this playfully composed garden armchair will add useful seating options to outdoor spaces. And with its blend of linear and curved elements, it cuts an elegant figure when not in use as well.
In terms of form, the Pip-e Green Garden Armchair features four legs, a series of horizontal bars to form the seat and back, alongside sculpted armrests to add extra comfort. The structure of the chair has been made from 100% recycled polypropylene, keeping the ecological impact as low as possible, while this plastic composite has been finished with a matt coating that protects against UV light and moisture damage.
The Pip-e Green Garden Armchair is 83cm high, 54.5cm wide and 52.5cm deep, with an ergonomic seat height of 42cm. That should be ideal for sliding underneath garden tables, while the plastic frame keeps the chair nice and light for easy handling. Additionally, Starck and Quitllet have ensured that the Pip-e Green Garden Armchair is completely stackable. That way, it can be stored out of season and deployed when needed without adding unnecessary clutter.
