Glo Ball Basic 2 Lamp

The Glo Ball Basic 2 Lamp has been created by Jasper Morrison for the brand Flos. English industrial designer Morrison is known for pieces that resemble those from Scandanavia in terms of clean, minimalist profiles. Another hallmark of his designs is a finishing touch that makes them all his own. His Glo Ball Basic 2 Lamp is a showcase of his approach to design and his abilities. The ball-shaped table lamp is made from acid-etched flashed opaline glass that has been hand-blown. The outstanding finishing touch is a threaded ring nut made of die-cast aluminum that is finished with alodine plating. The lamp sits on a base made of injection-moulded polyamide that has a percentage of fiberglass.

The Glo Ball Basic 2 Lamp has a diameter of 45cm and a height of 36cm. Its base has a diameter of 14.5cm. Its cable, which is 190cm in length, has an electric dimmer that can be used to adjust light intensity. The appropriate lamp with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories. The Tala Light Engine Bulb family is recommended for this lamp. A replacement diffuser for the lamp is also available for sale.
