Limited Edition Arco K Floor Lamp

The Limited Edition Arco K Floor Lamp has been created by Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for the brand Flos. The brothers were inspired by the simple and commonplace streetlight. They sought the parts to assemble a lamp that was tech-enabled while still maintaining aesthetic value.

The Limited Edition Arco K Floor Lamp was released to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the original floor lamp that is widely regarded as iconic. It was designed in 1962 which is the same year that the brand was founded. The limited edition model has a base made of crystal. It anchors a curved stainless steel stem that holds a semi-hemispherical reflector made of polished and varnished cast aluminium at its end. The stem can be adjusted so it can cast both direct and indirect light. It can be extended to a height of approximately seven feet which makes it possible to place a sofa or table underneath it.

The Limited Edition Arco K Floor Lamp has a width of 220cm, a height of 240cm and a depth of 32cm. Its cable is 270cm. It is compatible with an E27 bulb. To own this lamp is to own an important and iconic piece of design history.
