The stylish Lampara Suspension Lamp was created by Archivio Storico for leading design company Fontana Arte.
The renowned company was founded in 1881, when Luigi Fontana began creating stained glass windows, some of which can still be seen in the Milan cathedral today. in 1932, architect and designer Gio Ponti joined the company, giving them them impetus to further their portfolio by creating lighting and furnishings made from glass. Fontana Arte has strong links with the design world's leading artists and designers, and although the company is constantly evolving, they still produce elegant, timeless pieces like the Lampara Suspension Lamp.
This light, with its industrial-chic aesthetic, fits particularly well in large open areas, such as shops, restaurants or lofts. It also offers an exciting contrast to other design styles. The frame and lampshade of the lamp are made of matt aluminium or glossy chrome and is available in 3 sizes: 27 x 30 cm, 35 x 40 cm, or 40 x 45 cm. The strong halogen bulb supplies a powerful downward illumination, and the body of the Lampara Suspension Lamp is assembled using a subtle stainless steel cable. The power cord is stylishly transparent.
