This captivating Rituals XL Suspension lamp was designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba for the Italian lighting label Foscarini.
Formed in Murano Venice in 1981, Foscarini began by creating lamps inspired by the glass blowing tradition of the island. The firm has since expanded its scope and inspiration to create a stunning range of suspension, standing, table, wall, ceiling and bedside lamps that combine innovative form with durable practicality. Their dedication to producing products with a refined luxury for every home has won it countless accolades and a slew of prestigious awards including Red Spot and Compasso d'Oro.
This Rituals XL Suspension lamp fuses the the tradition of Murano blown glass with the aesthetic of Japanese rice paper lanterns. The result is an item with a delightful airy feel with a soft diffusion and warm illumination. Crafted from blown engraved satin glass and lacquered metal this lamp measures 41cm in height and 40cm in diameter with a suspension cable of 224cm. It's the ideal lamp to hang over dining tables, kitchen islands, and other spaces that benefit from cosy, atmospheric lighting.
