Special Edition Lumiere 30th Piccola Table Lamp

The Lumiere 30th Piccola Table Lamp has been created by Rodolfo Dordoni for the brand Foscarini. Timeless and iconic, the Piccola Lamp sums up Dordoni's approach to product design. First introduced in 1990, it returned to mark its thirtieth anniversary in 2020 courtesy of Italian lighting masters Foscarini and it still has the ability to wow with its seductive blend of glass and metal.

The Lumiere 30th Piccola Table Lamp is a compact table lamp, which measures 35cm tall and 20cm wide. Crafted from blown white glass, the shade resembles an upturned basket in form. For the first time, it has been embossed with a three-dimensional pattern of geometric ridges, adding complexity to the original design. And the shade rests on an elegant brushed aluminium tripod, lending stability to the lamp and complementing the grace of the diffuser perfectly.

The Lumiere 30th Piccola Table Lamp comes with a 190cm cord and weighs just 1.1kg, so moving the lamp should pose few problems. It casts an insistent but muted light over nearby surfaces via a separately supplied bulb. Customers should note that the appropriate bulb with the G9 socket can be ordered under accessories as required. Finally, a dimmer is provided to allow total versatility, rounding off a superb anniversary update.
