Anniversary Edition 2022 Series 7™ Chair Fabric

The Anniversary Edition 2022 Series 7™ Chair Fabric has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. This iconic chair that was designed in 1955 will never lose its allure. The chair is part of the brand's 150th Anniversary Edition Collection. Inspired by the human form, it has a high and wide backrest that constricts downwards. It then broadens out to form a generously sized seat with similar arches and curves. The shell is made of layers of pressure-moulded veneer, a technique that the designer pioneered. A layer of polyurethane foam goes over the veneer.

At the front, the Anniversary Edition 2022 Series 7™ Chair Fabric is upholstered with Kvadrat which is widely considered one of the best in the world. Its blend of 92% wool and 8% nylon gives it a soft, warm look and feel. At the back, the outer layer of walnut veneer is left on show, creating an interesting and striking contrast against the textile-upholstered front. The shell on the Anniversary Edition 2022 Series 7™ Chair Fabric is made of chromed steel. The tubular steel legs that have gliders underneath are slightly outspread giving the chair added stability and strength. The chair comes in granite brown and has a chromed base.
