Product description

The Favn™ JH3 Sofa has been created by Jaime HAYón for the brand Fritz Hansen. Its name Favn is Danish for embrace. It was bestowed on the sofa because of its design that envelopes the body in a cocoon of comfort and softness. Its design is inspired by the shape of a shell that is semi-enclosed and cosy.

The Favn™ JH3 Sofa has a backrest with a straight upper edge. The line dips downwards at the sides and then broadens out before curving inwards at the bottom to form a sort of envelope. It is these, elegant swan-like curves that give the semblance of an embrace when lounging on it. The backrest and seat each have a long, singular upholstered cushion that follows the contours of the frame. It is filled with polyurethane foam. There is a pair of smaller backrest cushions with the details of buttons. They are upholstered with premium quality fabric from the Kvadrat range. The sofa is supported by four legs made of aluminium and finished with satin polishing.

The Favn™ JH3 Sofa has a width of 221cm, a height of 88cm and a depth of 93cm. Its seat height is 42cm and its armrest height is 60cm. It comes in neutral colours.
