The JH Tray has been created by Jaime HAYon for the brand Fritz Hansen. Its bold and whimsical looks are hallmarks that the designer is known for. This versatile piece can be used as more than just a tray.
The JH Tray is made of Oregon pine veneer. This wood has distinctive rings that are different from those on other types of wood. The tray is round with raised edges. These have cutouts on opposite sides that provide the means to lift and carry the tray. There are other cutouts along the circumference of the tray. These are sealed with crescent-shaped inserts that can also be used to carry the tray. One of the most striking features is the brass-toned in the middle. It has a handle made of a rounded bar of wood. It can be used to lift the tray with one hand and it makes an outstanding aesthetic if the tray is to be used to hold decorative pieces. This could be on an entryway table, coffee table or the top of a chest of drawers.
The JH Tray has a height of 38cm and a diameter of 26.5cm. It makes a richly toned beautiful centrepiece by itself.
