Product description

The Apex Table Lamp has been created by John Tree for the brand HAY. The designer drew inspiration from banker's lights. He updated it with contemporary touches such as fresh colours and polished metal parts.

The Apex Table Lamp has a shade made of steel. It is folded in a way that makes it peak like a roofline which is how it earned the name Apex. The shade can be pivoted by 360 degrees. It rests on a rounded stem made of steel. It is wet-sprayed which gives it an elegant, shiny finish. The stem beneath the shade curves to form a short arm. It curves again inwards and then straightens out to connect to the base. The round base that anchors the lamp has the same glossy finish thanks to chrome plating. The base stands on a circle of little studs that raise it slightly off a surface and reinforce its stability.

The Apex Table Lamp has a length of 19cm, a width of 16cm and a height of 38cm. Its cable has a length of 200cm and has the lamp's inline on/off switch. It cannot be dimmed. The lamp comes with bright and neutral-coloured shades. It works with an E14 socket and the bulb has to be purchased separately.
