The Pier System 1002 Wardrobe has been created by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the brand HAY. More and more people are living a nomadic lifestyle thanks to the rise of remote working. Many also have to live and perhaps also work in compact spaces. Compact and modular furniture is ideal for this lifestyle.
The Pier System 1002 Wardrobe fits the bill perfectly. It has three bars made of anodised aluminium that has a satin finish. The lower end of it has an adjustable glider while the top end has a plastic cap. At the top, the unit has a shelf on each side that has a rail for hanging clothes. It is made of powder-coated sheets of steel and is attached to the bars with connectors. Under each shelf, there is a cabinet. It has a door that works with a magnet closure and the top of it can be used to place items like books, files and heavier items.
The Pier System 1002 Wardrobe has a width of 162cm, a height of 209cm and a depth of 34cm. It comes in neutral colours and is ideal for studio apartments, dorm rooms and small bedrooms where space is limited.
