The Pier System 152 Shelf has been created by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the brand HAY. It provides a compact and modular storage solution where space may be tight. It is particularly useful for those lacking in wardrobe or storage space.
The Pier System 152 Shelf can hold a considerable amount of weight. It has three bars made of adonised aluminium and finished with satin-textured lacquer. The bars create two columns. One has six shelves arranged one over the other. The shelf is made of a sheet of steel that has a raised edge at the back to ensure items do not fall. Connectors hold them securely on the bars. The other column has one shelf at the top and a cabinet at the bottom. Also made of a sheet of steel, it has a door made of aluminium that works with a magnetic closure. The top of it can be used to place things like books or even a lamp. The wardrobe is modular so it can easily be reconfigured as needs and preferences change. Shelves can be removed and added and their position can be changed.
The Pier System 152 Shelf has a width of 162cm, a height of 209cm and a depth of 34cm. It comes in neutral colours.
