The Spock Spotlight was designed by the designer Bernhard Dessecker for Ingo Maurer.
Bernhard Dessecker was born in 1961 in Munich and studied interior design. He worked for a while in New York before moving back to Munich in 1984, when he began to collaborate with Ingo Maurer. His work with this label includes many famous designs, which are all characterised by their flowing lines and excellent manufacturing quality.
The main features of this spotlight are its curves and small details as well as the tastefully elegant light bulb. This light is adjustable thanks to its integrated ball joint. Furthermore, a flush mounting means you can attach it to a wall or a ceiling.
The Spock Spotlight is 25cm tall by 20cm wide and is made from stainless steel and aluminum. It takes a 75-watt halogen light bulb, which comes included with the light.
