The Ego Stepladder has been created by Jan Kurtz for the brand Jan Kurtz. It is a functional item but its design also gives it aesthetic value.

The Ego Stepladder is made of beech. When it is opened, it has one side that has two slim, low steps leading to a wider one at the top. The other side has only one step between the floor and the highest level. It is lightweight and easy to carry around the house. It can be used for cleaning high windows and walls and changing bulbs on light fixtures that are on high ceilings. When it is not in use, the step ladder can be folded for easy and convenient storage.

The Ego Stepladder has a width of 47cm, a height of 130cm and a depth of 81cm when it is unfolded. When it is folded, it has a height of 145cm, a width of 47cm and a depth of 9cm. It is available in neutral colours and will be unobtrusive in a corner when stored away. There is also the option of leaving it in view in a space that is done with an industrial design theme. You could even display plants or books on the top shelf.
