The Four Table 158x79x73cm has been created by Ferruccio Laviani for the brand Kartell. Italian architect and industrial designer Laviani rose to prominence with designs for whimsical, bold and colorful pieces. His leaning towards exuberant, novel pieces saw him secure a place among industrial designers of note. One such piece is the Four Table 158x79x73cm. It deviates from the norm in its form and the materials from which it is made. The rectangular tabletop is made from scratch-resistant laminate so thin that it creates the illusion of a tabletop that levitates rather than one that is conventionally attached to the frame. The tabletop sits on a frame made of steel with a lacquer finish. The legs are also unconventional. They are also thin slats rather than tubular or blocks as is customary with the legs that support a table. The joints are also done differently. The space between the frame and the tabletop creates the illusion that the top is floating and not attached to the frame.
The Four Table 158x79x72cm has a length of 158cm, a width of 79cm and a height of 73cm. This table will make every meal or gathering around it an elegant affair.
