Poliedro Suspension Lamp

The Poliedro Suspension Lamp has been created by Elio Martinelli for the brand Martinelli Luce. The late Italian industrial designer Martinelli was the founder of the brand almost 70 years ago. He built up the brand to one with a reputation for innovative, ingenious pieces. One such piece is the Poliedro Suspension Lamp he designed in 1962 and which is still sought after today. The lamp is comprised of 60 pieces made from transparent polycarbonate. The triangular pieces are joined together with chromed metal fasteners that stand out against the transparent polycarbonate. Inside this frame is a diffuser made of methacrylate. The lamp is suspended from the ceiling with a steel cable. When the lamp is switched on, it casts a diffused light downwards as well as through the polycarbonate pieces.

The Poliedro Suspension Lamp has a diameter of 50cm and a cable that is 400cm long. The appropriate bulb with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories. With its outstanding appearance, this lamp should ideally be placed where it can be seen, such as over a kitchen or dining table. It will also cast a unique welcoming light in a hallway. A cluster of them will look even better.
